IMC was established in April 2003 with the support from parents of special children and caring individuals that are determined to educate and develop and to redefine how special children are perceived in today’s community.

When IMC was first established, it only had 3 students, 2 on a regular basis and 1 in a group home. IMC was transformed into a training centre in July 2004 with the enrollment of additional 6 students.

What planned to be a private home tuition service for a small group of slow learners, turned out to be referrals to other parents that were seeking training and education for their child in the Subang Jaya neighbourhood. Till to date, IMC has remained focused to serve 35 students of various disabilities.
